In Iran there is a special celebration known as “Norooz” which takes place at the first day of spring. In this day, the Iranians celebrate the coming of the New Year; but before this event takes place, Iranian families clean up and tidy their houses as a sign of change and renewal. People wash their carpets, tidy up their homes, buy new clothes, accessories and etc. The reason of this action is to be on par with spring, because spring is a season where everything rejuvenates and turns to new.
